Love ≠ Attachment


Love is often associated with attachment, where we feel the need to constantly communicate with and be around the person we love. It's a common belief that if we truly love someone, we will always want to be with them and feel lost without them. But is this really the case? Can we truly love someone without being attached to them?

The answer is yes. Love does not necessarily require attachment. We can love someone deeply without feeling the need to constantly be with them or communicate with them. Being attached to someone can sometimes create dependency, which can be unhealthy for both individuals in a relationship.

When we love someone, we should choose to be with them because we want to, not because we feel like we need to. Love should be a choice, not an obligation. Choosing to love someone without attachment requires a certain level of maturity and emotional independence.
